Free delivery and reduced fees aren’t enough to get people to subscribe to DoorDash’s DashPass subscription service.
Our challenge was to create a new exclusive offer for DashPass holders.
No one enjoys waiting in lines, so our goal was to introduce a new feature from DashPass that takes away your wait.
Solution
DoorDash will set up members-only lines at participating restaurants and retailers, allowing DashPass holders to take away their wait times. All they have to do is show their DashPass subscription to the cashier.
OOH
DoorDash will set up interactive screens next to people waiting in long lines and use Augmented Reality to make them look like they are from a different time period.
Spotify Radio Ads
DoorDash will take away the wait on Spotify. Literally.
Digital/Non-Traditional
DoorDash will geofence places with the longest wait times and airdrop flyers to people stuck standing in line.
